A typed account of Charles H. Chalmers' farm youth in Wabasha County, Minnesota. Chalmers details the family's 1878 move from Smith, Ontario, education, home life, and social events. Chalmers organized the manufacturing work and was the general manager at the Electrical Machinery Company for thirteen years.
